Being a member of Kiwanis means respecting the Mission, Values and the Objects of Kiwanis.  Our main purpose is to serve the children of the world.  Kiwanis groups most of its activities into three causes: 1) Literacy and Education, 2) Health and Nutrition and 3) Youth Leadership Development; all focused on youth.  Kiwanis sponsors youth Service Leadership Programs that include K-Kids, Builders, Key and Circle K Clubs that follow youth from elementary through college ages.

Dalton members are included as Members of Kiwanis International, the Georgia District of Kiwanis and of the local club.  Full membership includes a meeting with lunch every Monday at the Dalton Trade Center.  There are exceptions for most holidays and some special events.  Full membership dues are $180 per quarter which includes meal costs.  We also support a "Service Membership" with dues of $45 per quarter.  Service members don't usually attend Monday meetings and, if they do, there is a meal fee.  Service members do attend at least half of the Club's service events during the year.
